Easy, relaxed newborn sessions that bottle up every perfect detail.
Those first weeks go by in such a blur — the tiny fingers and milk-drunk smiles, the way they curl up on your chest like they were designed to fit there perfectly. As a Pittsburgh newborn photographer, I create a calm and unhurried experience so you can soak it all in while I capture all the details you never want to forget.
Newborn sessions don't have to feel stressful. And with the right photographer, they won't.
You just had a baby. The last thing you need is one more thing to figure out. From the moment you book, I'll walk you through everything: timing your session, planning what to wear, and knowing exactly what to expect on session day. My job is to take the overwhelm completely off your plate so you can show up and just enjoy everything about your perfect new baby!
feedings, diaper changes, fussy babies, and toddler siblings whose world has just been turned upside down: you're welcome in all of your beautiful chaos.
I provide a beautiful wardrobe selection for mothers, babies, and siblings, as well as styling direction for dads. I also have a wonderful hair & makeup artist for the ultimate hands-off experience for moms!
Not ready to leave the house with a new baby? I love shooting in the comfort of your own home! I also have wonderful studio & outdoor options available for those who prefer something different.
Your session includes beautifully edited digital images, plus a print credit so your favorite memories can live on your walls and in albums to pass down to your children (and theirs).

Welcoming Every Child, Every Family
on the blog
I recommend booking during your second trimester, ideally around 20 weeks. Of course, this is a very busy season for families — if you're well past this stage of your pregnancy, please still reach out! If my schedule allows, I am so happy to accommodate. Newborn sessions are best done in the first 5–14 days after birth, and we will finalize the details of your session after baby arrives.
You may have noticed that photographers have many different types of pricing structures. From one busy mom to another, I prefer to keep everything as simple as possible. That means that your session fee includes just about everything: my planning assistance, access to my curated client wardrobe offerings, your session time, and high resolution images! If you'd like to add on hair and makeup, that is a separate fee.
I offer in-home sessions, outdoor sessions, and studio sessions depending on your preference and your baby's needs. In-home sessions are a favorite — your baby is comfortable with the space, you're relaxed, and the images feel warm and personal. However, not every family wants photos in their home for many reasons. The studio and outdoors are wonderful options as well.
I expect that! Newborns sleep, eat, cry, and do exactly what they want — and I work entirely around them. There's no rushing, no stress, and no such thing as a baby who doesn't photograph beautifully. We take our time and let the session unfold naturally. Older siblings are actually often the ones who have the toughest time — they love their new baby, but their world has just turned upside down. I also expect siblings to act out of sorts and again, this is normal and no cause for stress whatsoever.
Your baby will only be tiny for a brief moment in time — let me help you hold onto the magic.
I am a special needs friendly photographer, and families of all kinds are welcome.
