My mission is to make your Pittsburgh family photoshoot easy, relaxed and beautiful. We will get the photos we need and let you go. I have dresses for Mom, clothing for kids and specific clothing recommendations for Dad. I even have a professional hair & makeup artist I work with if you are interested.
Family photography sessions in Pittsburgh start with a few traditional photos - everyone looking at the camera. Next, I guide you through a fun Pittsburgh family photography session of games, tickles, twirling, playing with trucks & rocks, picking flowers, whatever it is that sparks your kids' interest. I have 3 kids and I'm a nurse with Pediatric & Adolescent Behavioral Health experience. I promise I can handle your crew! the process

Inquire below to book your session. Outdoor family photos sessions Pittsburgh take place an hour or two before sunset and studio and in-home sessions take place in the morning. We'll plan out all details before your session.

Session Day will be relaxed. Enjoy the complimentary wardrobe for you AND the kids. Once you arrive, I will introduce myself and my camera. Next, I will get a few posed shots of the whole family if possible. I will lead your family through a fun session of playful games & silly prompts and see where the session goes. Some kids need more time to warm up or more distance than others and that's completely fine!

Your gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks. You will receive a link via email to view your photos. Prints, albums, and wall art can be purchased directly through your online gallery print store. Printing from this photo lab ensures the best photo quality.

Q: A family member has Special Needs. How can you help?

Absolutely! I would love to capture your whole family together. I know how precious extended family photos are to my Mom and would love to create a special experience for you. Inquire with me for Extended Family Session specifics.

Q: Can I include Grandparents or Extended family?

I LOVE working with families with special needs of all kinds. I am a Pediatric Nurse with many years of experience. I've worked in Medical & Behavioral Health settings. I want you and your child to know that I will always be respectful and accommodating. I NEVER want a child or parent to feel judged or uncomfortable during a session. I promise I've seen it all! My job is to capture you and your family in a beautiful light. All families deserve these timeless images to look back on!
I am happy to let you tell me what works best for your child. If you'd like me to take the lead I'm happy to do that too! I am a CapABLE Certified photographer. Check out the "Special Needs Photographer" tab here on my website.

You will receive an email with the link to your online gallery. There you will be able to view your images and download. You may purchase prints from the online gallery store. I will also send over the Wall Art & Heirloom Album catalogue. There are many beautiful luxury framing options. The Heirloom Albums are printed on museum grade paper & mounted and bound in your choice of linen or velvet. Gorgeous album cover designs are included. Please inquire if you'd like me to send over the catalogue.

Q: How Will i receive my photos from the session?

Kids almost never fully cooperate and that's okay! The best way to approach this is to just let them be kids and keep smiling. Sometimes our best bet is to take the photos with everyone together and looking at the camera first. Sometimes that happens later in the session. We will go with the flow. I will get beautiful images you will want to hang on your walls!
